Val Verde Community Regional Park Receives Increased Budget

Val Verde Community Regional Park will receive $2,700,000
dollars for park improvements, Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich
announced.  The Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the revised
budget to fund upgrading the ball field and renovating the basketball
and tennis courts. In addition, this action will allow for the replacement of restroom
buildings and repairs to the play area, drainage systems, walkways,
landscaping, irrigation and lighting. The current project estimate is  $813,175 more than 
the  previously approved project budget of $1,874,325.
