Heather Damron, 20, was driving southbound on the 14 near Placerita Canyon Road at 4:15 a.m. when she and a female passenger started arguing. Damron intentionally turned the steering wheel toward the center divider, causing the car to crash into the median.

After the impact, the passenger grabbed the keys from the ignition. Damron grabbed the passenger by the neck and proceeded to punch her in the face.
