Traffic investigators will be closing a portion of Valencia Boulevard Friday morning to re-create the accident that took the life of a Newhall mother who was watching fireworks Sunday night with her family.
Detective Jeff Maag of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station said that the City will close down Valencia Boulevard between Citrus Street and McBean Parkway at 1 a.m. He said the closure is scheduled to last until 5 a.m., but he expects the street may be opened sooner.
