The Valencia Flyers of the Tier III Junior “A” Western States Hockey League are proud to announce they will be sporting special “Halloween Themed” jerseys for their game on Saturday, October 30 at Ice Station Valencia.
The special one-of-a-kind jerseys will be worn only for the 7:15 p.m. game against the rival San Diego Gulls and will be auctioned off online at valenciaflyers.com. All proceeds from the jersey auction will benefit the Sheila R. Veloz Breast Imaging Center at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital. The “BIC” as it’s referred to, is attempting to raise $100,000 towards a breast imaging machine that will benefit all patients in cancer prevention and diagnosis.

With the event coming towards the end of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it was a “no-branier” for the Flyers to team-up with a local healthcare center and give back to the community. General Manager Scott Allegrini is excited to get the team and community involved in what should be a great night at Ice Station. “Everyone involved here with the Valencia Flyers and Ice Station Valencia are ecstatic to help the Sheila R. Veloz Center in their fund-raising efforts. We hope we can help them to reach their goal and raise community awareness,” he said.
Tickets are affordable for the whole family: adult admission is just $8 and children, students and seniors only $5. For more information please call (661) 775-8686 or visit valenciaflyers.com.
