KIA of Valencia is hosting their first annual Santa Clarita Hot Import Car Show, along with co-sponsors Import Fashion and Xtreme Audio Creations, on August 3 from 12-7 p.m. at the College of the Canyons parking lot to benefit the Santa Clarita Valley YMCA.

“Usually Santa Clarita hosts a variety of classic car shows, so this will be the first import car show and competition in Santa Clarita,” said event organizer Gary Choppé.

The event will culminate with the car competition in which Santa Clarita residents are encouraged to bring their import car of their choice and register to compete in the categories listed on the following site. There additionally are categories for domestic and motorcycle entries as well.  To winners of the competition, $750  will be awarded in cash prizes in their respective competitive categories. 

 “This show will give many import enthusiasts a chance to showcase their cool cars and we expect not only local car clubs but from the valley to participate as well,” said Choppé

 To accompany  the import car competition and car show, there is expected to be food vendors, live music, and prizes.
