Accident claims life of local real estate agent, golfer.

Valencia resident Roger Zidowsky died Saturday night after falling several floors at the Hollywood and Highland shopping and entertainment complex.

Zidowsky, who according to reports, had been drinking, was attempting to slide down an escalator railing when he lost his balance and fell on to a moving escalator. He was taken to the hospital, where he died.

Zidowsky was a member of the Valencia Country Club and participated in several local 5K runs. He worked as a member of the Gold Star Realty Team of Encino.
