San Fernando Valley Fair steps outside own borders to Saugus Speedway
[view:node_ad=5]Beginning June 7th and running through June 10th, the San Fernando Valley Fair will call Saugus Speedway home. Due to complications with the fair’s previous site, Santa Clarita was chosen to host this year’s festivities and potentially future fairs in the years to come.
The agenda for the fair includes numerous attractions such as the Tigers of India, Sea Lion Splash, carnival rides, and performances by Otis Day and the Knights, the band made popular by their cameo in the classic film Animal House.
Pony rides, a spring jump, laser maze, and a line of games will also fill out the fairgrounds.
Ticket prices run $7.00 for adults, $4.00 for seniors and children. Active duty Military and children under 5 years old enter free of charge, and general parking runs $3.00.
Hours for the fair are as follows:
Thursday, June 7th – 4:00pm to 10:00pm.
Friday, June 8th – 4:00pm to 12:00am
Saturday, June 9th – 12:00pm to 12:00am
Sunday, June 10th – 12:00pm to 10:00pm
This is not the first time the fair has been moved from the San Fernando Valley. Four years ago it was held at Castaic Lake.
