Detectives looking for witnesses.

[view:node_ad=5]Friday night, March 27th, a major accident occurred on Lyons Avenue near Wayman Ct.

 

At about 6:45 p.m. a GMC Sierra was traveling westbound on Lyons Avenue when
it collided with a pedestrian crossing the street.

 

The victim was rushed to Henry Mayo hospital with serious
injuries.

 

It was not immediately clear if the pedestrian was using the
designated crosswalk.

 

Sheriff's traffic investigators were on scene for several
hours last night looking for clues and gathering data.

 

They are asking any witnesses of this accident to contact Detective
