Scully will be calling his 54th home opener in Los Angeles, as he joined the club in 1950, eight years before the franchise moved to the West Coast

In 2005, USA Today named the broadcast team of Scully, Monday and Steiner as Major League Baseball’s best. Scully, a member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame, is considered by many to be the greatest sportscaster of all-time.

Monday, who recently earned top honors among radio analysts from the Southern California Sports Broadcasters Association, enters his 18th season as a Dodger broadcaster and 26th overall with the organization.

Steiner, a four-time Emmy Award winner, is entering his seventh season calling play-by-play for the Dodgers after 14 years at ESPN and three seasons with the Yankees.

A limited number of tickets for Opening Day, as well as for all games during the 2011 season, will go on sale this Saturday, February 26 at 10:00 a.m. at Dodger Stadium. To guarantee an Opening Day ticket, fans can purchase 2011 Mini Plans that include Opening Day now at www.dodgers.com or by calling a Dodgers Ticket Representative at (323) 224-1365.

The Los Angeles Dodgers, pioneers in sport and world culture, have won more games, more pennants, and more World Series than any other club in the National League since moving to Los Angeles.  Since the start of the modern era in baseball, the Dodgers of Brooklyn and Los Angeles, combined, have a cumulative attendance of more than 187 million, the highest total in the history of baseball or any other sport.

Visit the Dodgers at www.dodgers.com and catch all the Dodger Blue action at your Hometown Station, KHTS AM1220.
