Fighting among students prompted a lockdown of Hart High School during lunch hour Friday, as several groups of students refused to heed the school administration’s call to return to class. The incident, which was the subject of campus rumors in the morning, came to a head during lunch in the quad area of Hart High School. While most students headed back to class when prompted, a group of approximately 75 students did not, and some fighting broke out among those students. Sheriff officials were called to the scene and order was quickly restored. Four students were arrested in the aftermath, and the remainder of the campus was dismissed in small groups to minimize any further potential problems.
