Ryan Heath did a good job preparing to make his proposal to girlfriend, Natasha Prybyla, memorable. Heath had Prybyla’s mother’s wedding ring re-sized, polished, and fitted with his girlfriend’s favorite gem, tanzanite.
Then, taking into account her love for roller coasters, he proposed to her on Viper at Six Flags Magic Mountain. However, the thing that really made the day memorable was the last thing he could have wanted: Heath dropped the ring.

A team of 20 EMTs, Sheriff’s Deputies, Park supervisors and managers, searched the ride after hours, but it is lost in the “pit of the Viper,” likely deep in the machinery below the departure point for the roller coaster.
“We were so moved by the efforts of the Magic Mountain staff.” said Prybyla.
The couple, currently living in San Luis Obispo, has offered a reward for any park visitors, Santa Clarita residents, or classified shoppers who happen to stumble upon the white gold, antique ring with a 4mm tanzanite stone.
Despite it all, Prybyla saw the humor in the situation: “We were excited that it was official; disappointed that we lost a family heirloom; frustrated that we couldn’t hug or kiss each other thanks to the harnesses. I always wanted a memorable marriage proposal, and let me tell you…I sure got it.”
