Santa Clarita May Get Light Rain, Cool Temperatures

Santa Clarita will likely see light rain and cool temperatures throughout the week, according to meteorologists from the National Weather Service.

There will be light showers throughout the beginning of this week starting Monday, according to officials with the NWS.

Officials confirmed a 40 percent chance of showers throughout the day Monday, and a 30 percent chance of rain Tuesday.

Temperatures are expected to stay cool Monday but will still rise through the day to an expected peak of 52 degrees. During the evening, it will remain cool, dropping to around 40 degrees.

Clouds are expected to cover the sky for most of the week, with heavy cloud cover expected to roll in Tuesday afternoon. Gusts of wind up to 36 mph are also expected throughout the week.

But the weekend is expected to be sunnier weather, according to forecasters, with Friday’s high temperature around 69 degrees and Saturday hitting 73 degrees.
