As a storm finishes passing through the Santa Clarita Valley, another one with the potential for heavy rain could be on its way, leading to possible snow for the Grapevine.

A storm heading towards Santa Clarita could last for the majority of coming week, according to a forecast from the National Weather Service.
The final day of the current storm is Saturday, with a 20 percent chance of rain in the afternoon, and a 40 percent chance of rain in the evening, according to the NWS.
The second storm is expected to hit Santa Clarita on Tuesday, with a 20 percent chance of rain Tuesday afternoon, and a 30 percent chance Tuesday night.
Wednesday has the largest likelihood for rain in the Santa Clarita Valley, with a 50 percent chance throughout the afternoon and evening, according to NWS officials.
Thursday also holds a steady chance of precipitation, with a 50 percent chance for rain in the afternoon, and a 40 percent chance in the evening and throughout the night, according to officials.
The storm is then expected to subside Friday, with a 20 percent chance of rain throughout the day, according to officials.
The second storm is expected to bring moderate to heavy rain into Los Angeles County, with the potential for mudslides throughout the storm, according to NWS officials.
The storm could also bring snow on the I-5 Freeway near the Grapevine, with slippery roadways and winter driving conditions in the mountains, according to officials.
