The Wm. S. Hart Union High School District has launched a new web page designed to give visitors the most up-to-date information available on selection of a site for a future high school in Castaic. The site can be reached by typing http://www.hartdistrict.org/castaic into an internet browser or by clicking on the “Castaic Area High School” link in the Quick Links box on the district’s home page.
The initial posting on the site is a synopsis of the update given by consultants at the March 31 meeting of the Hart District Governing Board. The report also contains links to a proposed timeline for the site selection process. Additional updates will be posted as consultants complete various studies to assist the Governing Board in selecting an actual site for a new high school.
The Calendar section on the new Web page currently lists upcoming meetings of the Governing Board at which Castaic site selection updates will be presented. A blog feature allows site visitors to make comments or ask questions, which may then be referred to a soon-to-be-developed Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page.
Visitors to the site also will be able to sign up as followers on the district’s Castaic High School Twitter account, and sign up for notification by e-mail when new information is available.
