Newhall Land recently released their newest marketing campaign aimed at increasing residency in Valencia.
The new campaign, launched in mid February, is called Awesometown. It has been featured in print ads, billboards, bus wraps and is the central theme of the Valencia website.
“We went out and talked to a lot of people about what they thought about living in Valencia,” said Marlee Lauffer, Senior VP of Marketing and Communications for Newhall Land. “Literally the word that kept coming up was ‘awesome’. So we decided to make it a really fun campaign and call Valencia, Awesometown.”
Lauffer says the goal of the campaign is to raise awareness about the master planned community of Valencia and to help support Lennar Homes.
The new direction seems to be working, with Newhall Land reporting a significant increase in the number of hits on their website since the campaign started, and Lennar has seen an increase in traffic at their Newhall sales office.
