On Wednesday, October 5, the West Ranch Town Council and the County of Los Angeles Public Library will be holding the third in a series of needs assessment meetings to hear from local community members about a new Stevenson Ranch Library.
The primary purpose of this meeting is to review possible locations for the new library. The community is invited to help create a vision for library services in the Stevenson Ranch, Southern Oaks, Westridge, and Sunset Pointe communities.

The Stevenson Ranch community meeting will be held from 6:30 – 8 p.m. in the multipurpose room of Rancho Pico Junior High School, 26250 Valencia Blvd., Stevenson Ranch. Additional For additional information about the meeting, please visit Vision91381.org
The County of Los Angeles Public Library currently provides services from the Stevenson Ranch Express Library, located in Richard H. Rioux Memorial Park at 26233 W. Faulkner Drive.
At this interim express library, residents can sign up for a library card, place and pick up holds on books and materials, return library materials, and browse from a small collection of books, DVD, music and audiobooks.
The Stevenson Ranch Express Library is open from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, and from 10 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The express library is closed on Sunday and Monday.
The Stevenson Ranch Library project is being made possible with funding by Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich and the County Library.
