“I started by coaching professionals,” said Urbina. “I am committed to creating extraordinary results for them in their personal and professional lives.”
Urbina now specializes in helping kids, parents and families.
“My passion led me to kids,” said Urbina. “I wanted to be able to make a difference in this world and help create a better future for our kids.”
Life Coaching and Parenting
Developing the life coach parenting style can help us give kids the emotional intelligence that they really need; to be able to navigate through the extraordinary challenges they will face in the 21st century and persevere.
“As fathers, we think that our job is to bring home ‘the bacon,’ but really what’s much more important than that is engaging with our kids,” said Urbina. “And, a life coach can help with communication in the family.”
Life Coaching and Creating Possibilities
“My job is to create possibilities for people,” said Urbina. “I help them live in a world of unlimited possibilities.”
A possibility is just being open to something new or different.
“My job is to make people see from many different perspectives,” said Urbina. “If you have a limited perspective, you’re only going to be able to see inside that box. If you can only see inside that box, you’re only going to make choices that are inside of that box, and you’re only going to be able to create results from inside that box.”
From the outside looking in, a life coach can help people dream a little bit.
Personal Power
“Personal power is when you can do this yourself,” said Urbina, “to be able see new things today that you weren’t able to see yesterday.”
The present moment has an unlimited amount of possibilities; imagine if you were able to see more of them.
“There are things that we know, there are things that we don’t know, and there and things that we don’t know that we don’t know,” explained Urbina.
“As human beings, we bring our past to every new moment,” said Urbina. “We taint the new moment of new possibilities with our old fears, doubts, and insecurities.”
A life coach can help you embrace your own personal power.

“You have to start off by realizing and then admitting that you have self-limiting beliefs,” said Urbina. “and that those self-limiting beliefs could be getting in your way of accessing your full potential.”
We create these beliefs from our past experiences.
“I can help you see what you bring into new situations, like fear,” said Urbina.
A life coach can help you replace those limiting beliefs with new powerful and positive notions about who you are, and what you are really capable of.
“Use affirmations,” suggests Urbina. “Tell yourself how amazing you are every day, and you can condition your brain to believe it.”
Your brain has to believe it first, for it to be “real”, for you to be able to see it and experience it.
It’s important to remember that it’s ok to acknowledge how great you are. Society can easily imply to not believe in ourselves or not see our own greatness because it will come across to others as arrogance, according to Urbina.
“It’s not arrogant,” said Urbina. “It’s clarity; it’s authenticity, it’s the path to enlightenment.”
