Wildlife Is His Muse

artThe Santa Clarita Artists’ Association will feature wildlife artist, Marty Katon at their November 16 meeting.

Animal lovers of all ages are invited to come to this demonstration that starts at 7 p.m.

Martin Katon lived with Native Americans and rescued wild animals which are subjects of his paintings.

With more than 6,000 paintings under his belt, his work is in galleries such as Merrill Chase Galleries of Chicago, Joe Wade Galleries of Santa Fe, Angel Gallery of Coeur de Alene, Idaho and the Toledo Museum of Art.

Katon’s artwork is in the private collections of Burt Reynolds and Robert Redford, as well as many others.  
The Santa Clarita Artists’ Association monthly meetings are held at the Westfield Town Center Community Room located between JCPenney and the Food Court.

Non-members may attend and their first meeting is free.
