Wind Advisory In Place Through Wednesday Night

windadvisoryCold air piling into the Great Basin will produce gusty northeast winds over much of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties Tuesday and Wednesday. These winds will likely restrengthen Wednesday night and Thursday and additional advisories may be required.

 

The National Weather Service in Los Angeles has issued a wind advisory which is in effect until 6 p.m. Wednesday night.

Areas of northeast winds 20 to 30 MPH with gusts up to 50 and 60 MPH possible in the hills.

Winds may make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles on the 5, 14, 101 and 118 freeways .Use extra caution.
