Wind Expected To Whip It Up Through SCV

According to the National Weather Service, gusty northwest winds will affect sections of central and southern California through Tuesday.

 

Winds are expected to strengthen tonight, especially across the mountains and valleys surrounding Santa Clarita. Gusts between 50 and 60 MPH are likely.

The high wind advisory is in effect until 3 p.m. Tuesday. Travel will be affected along the I-5 corridor; drivers are advised to take precautionary actions, especially if driving high profile vehicles.
