A 49 year-old woman was arrested Wednesday night after hitting a car in the River Oaks shopping center and allegedly attempting to leave the scene.
According to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s officials, Susan Christiansen was near Target in Valencia around 4:25 p.m. when she collided with four other vehicles, causing one person to receive minor injuries.
Sergeant Michael Wright told KHTS that Christiansen allegedly attempted to flee, but was blocked by an off-duty California Highway Patrol officer who witnessed the accident.
After an open bottle of vodka was found in her car, Christiansen was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and hit and run.
