The victim told deputies that she was waiting in her car for a friend when around 9:45 p.m., the friend pulled up with an unknown male in his passenger seat.

The passenger got out of his car and entered the victim’s car and held a semiautomatic handgun to her face, demanding her purse, which he ransacked looking for cash.

He then got out of the car and returned to the first vehicle, a black Ford Expedition, which left the parking lot in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, black hair, brown eyes, 5 feet 6 inches in height, weighing approximately 190 pounds, around 30 years of age. The driver of the car was described as a male black.

Deputies think the robbery may also be drug-related.
