Have you been laid off or are you looking for a new job? The Santa Clarita WorkSource Center will host a free Job Fair from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, October 7 to help connect job seekers with employers looking for top talent.

The event will be held at the Santa Clarita WorkSource Center, located at the College of the Canyons’ Dr. Dianne G. Van Hook University Center.

The job fair allows applicants and local businesses the opportunity to interact in a centralized location and professional environment. Confirmed employers to date include the Aerotek Staffing Agency, Art Institute of California, ASC Process Systems, Axis Athletic Club, Devry University, Canoga Park-West Hills WorkSource Center, Employee Training Institute at College of the Canyons, Goodwill of Southern California, Lane Bryant, Sears Marketing Center, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Staffmark, and Transamerica.

Jobseekers are encouraged to arrive on time, dress to impress, have multiple copies of their resume available, and be prepared for on-site interviews.

The Santa Clarita WorkSource Center is located in the College of the Canyons University Center at 26455 Rockwell Canyon Road, Suite 250.  Employers interesting in participating in the Job Fair are asked to contact the WorkSource Center at (661) 799-WORK (9675) as space is limited.
