WorkSource Workshop To 'Demystify' Community College Employment

WorkSource Workshop To ‘Demystify’ Community College Employment

For anyone interested in working for College of the Canyons or similar community colleges, the Santa Clarita WorkSource Center is hosting a free “Demystifying the Community College Employment Process” workshop next week.

The workshop will be held on Thursday, Dec. 12 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the COC University Center, Suite #250.

The WorkSource Center is partnering with the COC Human Resources and Career Services Departments, with representatives from each department planning to speak at the workshop.

They will discuss resume preparation and explain the application process at COC, according to WorkSource staff.

The event is free and open to the public with unlimited seating, but advance registration is preferred.

COC currently lists all available job openings for both academic and non-academic positions on their Human Resources webpage.

These workshops will be held quarterly in the future.
