An 20-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries late Saturday night when she crashed into a power pole in the 30000 block of Hasley Canyon Road in Castaic.

Coroner’s officials identified the victim as Devon Murth of Castaic.  According to her Facebook profile, she attended the Newberry School of Beauty and was employed with Sinfull Angels, an adult entertainment company that manages dancers.

The California Highway Patrol reported the crash at 11:49 p.m. CHP Officer Patrick Kimball of the California Highway Patrol said Murth’s Jeep Grand Cherokee was the only vehicle involved in the collision.

The police report was not available Sunday morning, but Kimball said it appeared she crashed into an Edison pole and kept going, smashing into a horse corral near a mobile home park just east of Romero Canyon Road.

Hasley was temporarily closed early Sunday, and Edison crews were called in to determine whether the pole was operable.
