If you’ve attended LUNAFEST® in prior years, you know what a treat it is! If you haven’t, here’s an opportunity to see some unique short films that speak to the wide variety of women’s lives, as well as to their commonality.
Join the ZONTA Club of Santa Clarita for an evening of inspiration, laughter, camaraderie, wine and movie theater food! LUNAFEST®, at the Canyon Theatre Guild on Apr. 25 at 6 p.m.

This unique fundraising film festival highlights women as leaders in society, illustrated through nine short films by women filmmakers. The films range from animation to fictional drama, and cover topics such as women’s health, motherhood, body image, aging, cultural diversity and breaking barriers. LUNAFEST® is dedicated to promoting awareness about women’s issues, highlighting women filmmakers, and bringing women together in their communities.
General admission is $25 and includes a pre-screening social gathering, the film screening, popcorn, soda or water and candy.
Premium admission is $50 and includes a post screening facilitated discussion with selected filmmakers, a pre-screening reception on the patio with hors d’oeuvres, and post-screening reception with wine and dessert.
All proceeds from LUNAFEST® will benefit the Breast Cancer Fund and the Zonta Club of Santa Clarita.
If you can’t attend this LUNAFEST® in Santa Clarita, look for it in Pasadena, Hollywood, and other communities. Proceeds from all LUNAFEST® benefit Luna’s Breast Cancer Fund and the sponsoring organization’s work towards advancing the status of women.
LUNAFEST®, which is created and funded by LUNA®, The Whole Nutrition Bar for Women®, raised over $556,000 for Breast Cancer Fund and over $1,000,000 for other women’s non-profit organizations.
