5 Acres In Wildwood Canyon Could Be Yours!

By Jason Endicott

John and Janice Hoskinson's Wildwood Canyon home won't be theirs much longer! John, who is the President and CEO of local company Gruber Systems, and his wife have decided it's time for a change. Although they love the home, now that the kids have all grown up and moved out, they are looking to downsize their home a bit- and so this beautiful estate in Newhall goes on the market. However, the Hoskinsons plan to stay in the Santa Clarita area, as both are heavily involved in many local organizations and groups. RE/MAX agent Mike Lebecki has the listing.

The home sits at the end of a private driveway in a secluded area of Newhall, in Wildwood Canyon. The home has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms inside a very spacious 7100 square feet. The home sits on five woodland acres, with 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains and canyons. Contained on the five acres are two large fenced 'corral' areas, making this house a perfect location for a horse lover. The house has three stories, which are all connected by both a grand staircase and an elevator.

The home generates a large portion of the electricity it uses, thanks to this solar panel located on a nearby hillside. Average monthly power bill? About two dollars a month!

Once entering the home through the front entryway, you're immediately drawn to the spacious and open living room. Large windows to the outside allow views to the beautiful surroundings outside.
