Month-Long Closure Part of Intersection and Freeway Ramp Expansion Project
As part of the Magic Mountain Parkway roadway construction project to widen that intersection and the I-5 freeway off-ramp, the southbound I-5 off-ramp will be closed at Interstate 5 for the ramp widening.
The southbound I-5 freeway off-ramp closure will begin at 8 p.m. on December 1, 2008 and will conclude on December 31, 2008. All businesses in the surrounding construction area will remain open during these construction activities. There will be detour signs posted for alternate routes along I-5 southbound, prior to the Magic Mountain Parkway exit. Motorists may use either one of the following exits as alternate route to The Old Road and Magic Mountain Parkway. State Route 126, Rye Canyon Road, or Valencia Blvd.
