Wilk’s CEQA Reform Bill Struck Down In Assembly Committee

A bill requiring the Santa Clarita Sanitation District to hold its board meetings within the Sanitation District boundaries passed unanimously off the Assembly Floor Thursday.

Assemblyman Scott Wilk’s Assembly Bill 1398, which would streamline the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) process, was voted down in Assembly Natural Resources Committee on a straight party line vote of three to six.
