Valencia Fake Bomb Scare Part Of Santa Clarita Burglary Investigation

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station deputies believe a movie-prop vest stolen from a Valencia garage, which prompted a bomb scare that shut down Kohl's for hours, is also evidence in a burglary investigation. Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station deputies responded to a report of a stolen car Monday night around 5:30 p.m., near the 23700 block of Delmonte Drive in Santa Clarita. Deputies located the vehicle, now abandoned, in the parking lot near Kohl's in Valencia, near McBean Parkway.
