A Los Angeles County judge might have paved the way for a last-minute run at a fifth term by Santa Clarita City Councilman Frank Ferry. Due to Santa Clarita’s term limits on City Council seats, Ferry said he was planning to move on to a new career earlier this year. He stepped down from his post as principal of Alemany High School in February.
