Wilk Bill To Increase Agency Transparency Passes Committee

The Assembly Bill requiring the Santa Clarita Sanitation District, or the SCVSD to hold its board meetings within the boundaries of the district passed unanimously out of the Assembly Appropriations Committee, officials said Friday.

Saugus Tax Adviser Joins Race For McKeon's 25th Congressional Seat

A Santa Clarita tax adviser is throwing his hat in the ring for the 25th Congressional District, seeking the seat held by Congressman Buck McKeon, R-Santa Clarita, for more than 20 years. Troy Castagna, 37, of Saugus, who runs his business TC Financial, out of a Santa Clarita Valley office.
