Santa Clarita Deputies Arrest 5 On Drug-Related Charges

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies reported five drug-related arrests in a four-hour span Thursday night into Friday morning, as part of a continued effort to keep Santa Clarita’s residents safe, Sheriff’s Station officials said Friday. “Capt. (Roosevelt) Johnson has attended briefings on all shifts, many times staying past midnight to interact with deputies working patrol overnight,” said Deputy Josh Dubin of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. “He’s been looking to continue the low crime rate we’ve had in this community, which is based on a close partnership we’ve had with the residents that we serve.” Two of the arrests were the direct result of Santa Clarita Valley residents who noticed suspicious behavior and reported it to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, Dubin added.

Santa Clarita Valley Deputies Makes Arrest On Robbery, Assault Charges

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies received a call from a Santa Clarita business office that led to a felony arrest Saturday, officials said. Sean Nagle, 45, of Valencia, was booked on assault with a deadly weapon and an attempted robbery charge, after employees said he tried to steal the keys to their business by force on the 25300 block of Magic Mountain Parkway, near Tourney Road, in Santa Clarita. Sheriff’s Station officials commended the informants in the incident for immediately contacting the Sheriff’s Station after becoming concerned.
