Santa Clarita Valley Deputies Investigating Stevenson Ranch Burglaries

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies are investigating a series of burglary reports, including an attempted hot prowl burglary, in the Stevenson Ranch area, officials said Friday. Two suspects attempted to break into a residence Wednesday on the 24700 block of Laurelcrest Lane, in unincorporated Los Angeles County, through a rear sliding glass window, according to Sheriff’s Station reports. “We’ve stepped up patrols in response and the zone leader for that area, Deputy Jeremy Carr, has been working with residents and Sheriff’s Station detectives to help identify and arrest the suspects,” said Sheriff’s Station deputy Josh Dubin of the Crime Prevention Unit. “We’ve been actively patrolling and we have detectives who are actively investigating the incidents.

Stevenson Ranch Woman Pleads No Contest In Fatal DUI Crash

A Stevenson Ranch woman arrested in connection with a fatal DUI crash that killed a Lake View Terrace man could receive up to four years in state prison when she's sentenced next month. Suzette L. Crockett, 46, of Stevenson Ranch, was booked Aug. 11 on a charge of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. Under the terms of her plea deal, the sentence is up to a judge, and there’s a 48-month maximum on the amount of time she could be sentenced to in state prison, said Emily Cole, the deputy district attorney in charge of the case’s prosecution.

Valencia Man Pleads Not Guilty To Stevenson Ranch Mayhem Charge

A Valencia man facing a maximum of life in prison pleaded not guilty Tuesday to charges in connection to an alleged road-rage attack in Stevenson Ranch. Cory Allen Flenory, 27, is facing one count each of mayhem and vandalism over $400, and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon. The case against Flenory also includes the allegation that he used the BB gun as a deadly weapon and that he has a 2005 felony conviction in Tulare for carjacking, robbery and assault with a deadly weapon, according to Guy Shirley, deputy district attorney.
