Mammoth Lakes is a small town in Mono County, and is located in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. The town of Mammoth Lakes is mainly tourist-based because of its beautiful climate in the summer. Mammoth is also the home of Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort, one the biggest ski attractions in the nation.
