Ventura County Getaway
Ventura, derived from San Buenaventura (the county’s original name), is a great place to bring the family for a weekend getaway or just for the day. Enjoy the many beaches, ride bikes on the boardwalk, or even camp right on the beach. Ventura’s history goes way back in time, so don’t forget to check out all of their great historical museums.
FUN FACT: Ventura is also one of the largest agricultural counties in Southern California.
