Triumph Foundation is a non-profit organization in Santa Clarita with the mission of helping individuals with Spinal Cord Injury triumph over their disability and inspiring them to get better every day. This company works to minimize the obstacles that one faces after suffering Spinal Cord Injury.  We specialize in galvanizing and restoring lives after Spinal Cord Injury (SCI).

Co-founder Andrew Skinner suffered a C4, C5, & C6 Spinal Cord Injury in 2004 and is a recovering quadriplegic. Kirsten was with Andrew at the time of his injury and has been with him every step of the way.  The two married and formed Triumph Foundation. 

Triumph strives to  activities consist primarily of educating people who have suffered SCI about the many organizations, assistance programs, activities, and pieces of equipment that exist to help them keep living their lives to the fullest potential. 

Triumph Foundation helps people to persevere through the fear, despair, and unknown. They reach out to those who have suffered from SCI by:

  • Providing Information about Assistance Programs & Organizations
  • Giving Care Baskets to Newly Injured Individuals
  • Helping People with Financial Constraints
  • Taking Leadership Roles in SCI Support Groups
  • Planning Home Modifications for Wheelchair Accessibility
  • Expanding Adapted Sports & Recreation Opportunities
  • Promoting the Benefits of Exercise and a Healthy Lifestyle
  • Partnering with Individuals to Get Lives Back on Track
  • Public Speaking
  • Raising SCI Awareness

Triumph Foundation helps those affected by SCI along the road to recovery.

The company offers empathy and encouragement as they reconstruct their lives.  The challenges of paralysis are not just physical; they are also mental and emotional. A positive attitude is the first step toward recovery.

Triumph subscribes to the belief that exercise is medicine; a healthy diet and lifestyle is an essential part of recovery; and living life to its fullest potential is the ultimate goal after suffering SCI. Triumph Foundation helps people with SCI achieve their goals by partnering with them and acting as advocates, consultants, and former SCI patients.
