The motivational program, which seeks to help students discover their interests and relevant career pathways, last came to Bowman High School in February of 2010.

Roadtrip Nation Education is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating educational resources as well as interactive and project-based curriculum to empower students to discover and pursue their passions, according to the non-profit’s website.

The program targets students at risk of dropping out of high school or not graduating on schedule with the goal of inspiring students to succeed in school.

“We are thrilled that AT&T is bringing this fantastic program to Bowman High School for the second time,” said Hart School District Superintendent Rob Challinor in a release. “Our students will gain valuable knowledge and direction on how to follow their dreams and create a pathway for a successful future.”

In the program, Bowman students will participate in interactive self-reflection exercises and explore interest related career paths through Roadtrip Nation resources, including video interviews with successful leaders.

Roland Miller, Operations Manager for Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, will be a part of the program as a local leader on hand for students to interview about his road to professional success.

“The heart of our curriculum is to allow students to map their interests to future pathways in life,” said Mike Marriner, co-founder of Roadtrip Nation, in the release.

The support for Roadtrip nation is part of AT&T Aspire, the company’s educational outreach program.
