Arroyo Seco Junior High School Names New Principal

The William S. Hart Union High School District Governing Board (WSHSD) approved Lori Gambero as the new principal at Arroyo Seco Junior High School.

Following the retirement of current principal Dr. Andy Keyne, the WSHSD appointed Gambero to fill the vacant seat.

“We’re pleased to introduce Ms. Lori Gambero as the new principal of Arroyo Seco Junior High School,” said Superintendent Mike Kuhlman. “With her proven administrative expertise and her genuine ability to connect with students, staff, and parents, I’m confident Ms. Gambero will be a great fit with the team at Arroyo Seco.”

Gambero has served as assistant principal at Castaic High School since July 2022, and has previously served as principal of Ramon C. Cortines Visual/Performing Arts High School in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) from 2019 to 2022.

The academic leader has also served a number of other leadership roles in LAUSD and the Fresno Unified School District including District Arts Specialist, Assistant Principal, School Director, District Campus Culture Director, Vice Principal, Lead Counselor, and Language Arts Department Chairperson.

Gambero is set to step into her role on January 3, 2024.
