Who/What: Be The Light 5k/10k Run

Details: As the sun sets on Santa Clarita, we will turn our headlamps and flashlights on for our run/walk along the San Francisquito Creek Trail. Beams of light will create a visual show of community support and love. Young people in recovery—along with moms, dads, and siblings—will witness this powerful reminder that they are not alone.

The 10K race will start at 6:50 PM followed by the 5K races at 7:00 PM, just in time for a spectacular sunset.

Be The Light 5K is about creating awareness of the issues that trouble our community with drug and alcohol abuse with youths. This event benefits A Light of Hope charity who works with youths going through recovery to guide them to a healthy, clean, and positive lifestyle. By participating in this event and shining your light you are helping to support our community and make a difference, thank you!
