Who/What: Get Real: Adulting 101

Details: Get Real is an in-person game that will show our young adult community how much their living expenses will cost and the amount of money they will need to earn to pay for them.

Participants will get a fake identity that includes a salary, career, and credit score. They’ll visit booths where they’ll purchase essentials like housing, transportation, utilities, and learn to budget their money so they live within their means. We will pressure them to spend money they don’t have as real life marketing will do in the real-world. The goal is to end with money leftover.

Event is from 10-4 but appox game time is 45 min.

There will be prizes for participants, like MB2 Entertainment play cards, Starbucks gifts cards, and a $500 education grant!!
