The goal of the California Highway Patrol is to keep all citizens in California safe. Without the CHP, the roads around here would be considered a more dangerous place. It’s their job to keep us safe on our roads.
Keeping Santa Clarita Drivers Safe
The CHP has a list of goals they wish to accomplish. Some of these goals include, protecting life and property, providing superior service to the public and assistance to allied agencies, enhancing public trust through community outreach and partnerships, investing in our people, and identifying and responding to evolving law enforcement needs. The CHP is doing everything they can to keep everyone in Santa Clarita as safe as possible so that they can enjoy the wonderful city of Santa Clarita.
We use our roads to go places, conduct business, engage in commerce, or simply enjoy California’s beauty, however it’s also important to do that in a safe matter. That’s why the CHP is here. To protect us from the dangerous possible outcomes that can possibly happen. The CHP is doing their very best at reducing collision and fatality rates in Santa Clarita. It’s the CHP’s duty to keep everyone safe from any possible danger and this is just one example of the many things they have done to help us all out.
There are seven points that a CHP officer has to meet and demonstrate to the general public of Santa Clarita. Those points are character, integrity, judgement, loyalty, courtesy, honor, and knowledge. These seven points are the duties for all CHP officers and they will show them to all citizens in Santa Clarita.
