On this episode of the Insight Treatment Hour, Dr. Trevor Small, Director of Clinical Development at Insight Treatment, talks to Heather Hayes, M.ED., LPC, CIP, CAI. Heather and Dr. Small dive right into it, and Heather shares her story of addiction, recovery, and her journey to where she is at now. Heather takes time to explain the intervention process and how it can be approached differently for each person. Some people can react poorly to a standard sit-down intervention, so Heather explains how an intervention can happen in many different ways. Heather shares insights and experiences she has seen during her illustrious career in this industry and others, in hopes of helping people approach the challenging task of interventions. “Heather Hayes is the Founder and CEO of Heather R. Hayes & Associates, Inc. She is a Master’s Level, Licensed Counselor, Board Registered Interventionist (CIP) and Certified ARISE Interventionist. Mrs. Hayes received her B.A. from Emory University and her M.Ed. from Antioch University in Counseling Psychology.
