Real Estate and Other Stuff – Red Flags in Buyers and Reading Body Language – January 27, 2023
Today on Real Estate and Other Stuff, it is Phil and Taylor giving everyone all the latest news in real estate and more. They start out with Phil’s challenges with selling his house and some red flags to look out for with the buyers. Additionally, they discuss the loan packages, the banks’ proof of affordability on the buyer’s end, and how everything needs to be completed within 45 days.
Then, it’s time for a segment on the show called By the Numbers where Phil asks Taylor what she thinks are the latest numbers for houses on the market in Santa Clarita Valley and she has to guess the correct number. They share their thoughts on the changes in numbers as the weeks go by.
Afterward, they discuss reading someone’s body language and how realtors, buyers, sellers, and lawyers can benefit from this knowledge. It’s good for one to be conscious of their own and other’s body language. Phil and Taylor share their own thoughts and expertise on how this is beneficial in their work. Some of the examples included, but are not limited to, are preparation of body language, the consciousness of facial expressions, watching for word discrepancies, and controlling inner monologue.
Subsequently, they explore how much one needs to make in order to be considered for being part of the top 1% for different states in the US.
