Did You Know That Your Roof Can Tell You When It’s Time For A Replacement

August Roofing & Solar has been in business since 1991 helping customers from all over Southern California by replacing and repairing roofs and since 2015, installing solar panels.

When you contact August Roofing & Solar, a roofing consultant will come out to your home and review the issues your roof may have and openly communicate with you about the issues and the solutions to repair your roof.

Typical roofs can last between 25-30 years, depending on the material that the roof is composed of. If it’s asphalt shingles, it’ll last up to 30 years.

Did you know that your roof can tell you when it’s time to replace?

Aside from detecting leakage from a rainstorm, if your roof is showing any shininess, it’s nearing its end. Another sign is when the granules from the roof start to come off.

There is also significant water damage, major leaking, the growth of mold and mildew, cracking and heat damage.

About Carl Goldman

Carl Goldman, along with his wife, Jeri repurchased KHTS AM-1220, Santa Clarita’s hometown station on October 24, 2003. They owned it from 1990-1998, and then sold it to Clear Channel Communication in 1998, buying it back from Clear Channel in 2003. Since then, they have rebuilt KHTS as a critical voice of the Valley. In 2015 the radio station moved to its new headquarters on Main Street in Old Town Newhall, in the original Newhall Hardware building. In 2018 an FM was added, 98.1, with its signal being simulcast with AM-1220. In January 2020, Carl and Jeri cruised on the Diamond Princess.
