SCVi Values Building Relationships And Focusing On An Individualized Approach To Every Unique Learner’s Needs

Is your child lacking the freedom to express themselves in the classroom?

SCVi may be the perfect learning environment for them. It’s completely free! SCVi encourages a safe space for every learner (student) to be able to express themselves and learn in a way that is comfortable for them as they grow and develop.

SCVi’s facilitators (teachers) are the backbone to this establishment, as they are devoted to giving learners the best academic and emotional support one-on-one, thus creating an environment where every learner can find their identities and be the change they want to see in this world.

This week, newly appointed CEO of iLEAD California, Amanda Fisher chats on Eye on the Valley with Matt Watson to discuss her new role and what working for iLEAD has done for her.

What is a CEO?

A CEO acts like a superintendent, but also walks alongside facilitators and directors and listens to their needs and supports them equally. The CEO oversees 6 schools individually with 6000 students.

Amanda Fisher tells host Matt Watson, her vision for iLEAD schools is just doing what is best for the kids. She values building relationships and focusing on an individualized approach to every unique learner’s needs.

Every school is a little different from each other, and some vary from which grade levels they facilitate up to, and some schools are either project-based or play-based.

Every school under this giant umbrella plays key roles in the development of every learner that comes to SCVi and other iLEAD programs. iLEAD offers programs that are on campus every Monday-Friday, just like a regular public school, iLEAD online for the learners that perform better online or are on-the-go, and even an iLEAD hybrid that incorporates both online and in-person connections.

Every school offers a different climate to the kids, and new prospects for the program are highly encouraged to check out iLEAD schools and come see why this program is an amazing experience for kids and the whole family.

About Carl Goldman

Carl Goldman, along with his wife, Jeri repurchased KHTS AM-1220, Santa Clarita’s hometown station on October 24, 2003. They owned it from 1990-1998, and then sold it to Clear Channel Communication in 1998, buying it back from Clear Channel in 2003. Since then, they have rebuilt KHTS as a critical voice of the Valley. In 2015 the radio station moved to its new headquarters on Main Street in Old Town Newhall, in the original Newhall Hardware building. In 2018 an FM was added, 98.1, with its signal being simulcast with AM-1220. In January 2020, Carl and Jeri cruised on the Diamond Princess. Carl was one of the first Americans to come down with Covid-19. Months earlier he was impacted by Guillain Barre Syndrome as a result of a Shingles vaccine in September 2019. He is still in recovery from the vaccine.
