The 2020 KHTS Sacramento Road trip has been postponed until summer in order to mitigate any potential issues that might be caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19), organizers announced Thursday.
While there are not any known cases of coronavirus in Santa Clarita, there have been several cases reported in the Sacramento and Los Angeles Counties.
To protect the community leaders who would be taking part in the trip, as well as the communities along the route, KHTS Owners Carl Goldman and Jeri Seratti-Goldman have decided to postpone the 2020 KHTS Sacramento Road Trip to err on the side of caution.
“We’ve decided for everyone’s safety to move our trip to June,” Goldman said. “It’s a wise decision.”
Goldman understands better than most the threat of COVID-19, as he is currently recovering from the disease in a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.
