House Minority Leader Congressman Kevin McCarthy, R-Bakersfield, is set to join Santa Clarita representatives during the KHTS SCV to DC Trip next week.
McCarthy is scheduled to speak with Santa Clarita representatives on Tuesday, touching on current priorities for the federal government.
“When Congressman Mike Garcia first came to Congress in 2020, I knew that his unique perspectives as a veteran and family man would make him a true asset to our Republican Conference. From the onset, his enthusiasm and desire to get straight to work made it clear that he would be able to deliver for his constituents. As someone who represents a neighboring district, I’m proud to say that he has been relentless in working on behalf of his community,” said Leader McCarthy. “I look forward to taking part in this year’s SCV to DC event and hearing directly from my fellow Californians whose perspective we will ensure is always reflected in Congress.”
The group will also have meetings with top-level decision-makers from the Department of Commerce, the Office of Postsecondary Education, the Administration for Community Living, the Department of the Interior, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the National Science Foundation and others.

The four-day advocacy trip is scheduled for Sept. 18 – Sept. 21, 2022 (travel is on Sunday, September 18, 2022). It will include a full schedule of meetings with official decision-makers.

Non-citizens cannot vote so your theory that open borders provide more voters is incorrect.
