Typically, we see kayaking as a vacation activity for kids or a sightseeing opportunity for elders. But if you want some thrills, kayaking over wild waterfalls is about getting as intense as you can. Watching the sunset over an ocean while seated in your small boat always offers you relaxation and calmness. We can say that kayaking is one of those outdoor activities which reconnect you with nature and wildlife.

2. Kayaking Improves Your Health

Kayaking is a wonderful outdoor activity, to improve your cardiovascular fitness, increase your body strength, and to become more flexible. While you are using a paddle, it results in a great arm workout and will allow you to have firm looking arms. The rotational paddling movements during kayaking engage your core muscles and you will get those six-pack abs within a short amount of time spent kayaking. It also builds up your heart rate. It also offers you an effective workout for back, shoulders, and chest. Studies show that one hour of kayaking burns 500 calories which means 4 hours of kayaking burns 2000 calories.
