Trump Tweet Claiming Election Fraud In L.A. County Debunked By Registrar’s Office

The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s office shared a statement on social media affirming the ballots seen being collected in a video shared by President Donald Trump were valid and legally cast.

Though not officially a response to the President directly, the statement appears to have been prompted by a tweet from Trump on Wednesday which shared a video of ballots being collected from a Vote by Mail drop box in Los Angeles County.

The video has since accumulated 7.1 million views as of Thursday afternoon on Trump’s tweet alone.

Within an hour of Trump sharing the video, the LA County RR/CC tweeted a statement about the ballots collected at Vote by Mail Drop Boxes.

“Yes, they are ballots,” reads the statement. “Valid, legally cast ballots collected and processed by authorized election officials in accordance with the California Elections Code.”

The video in question however had surfaced prior to Trump’s tweet and was taken Nov. 4, according to officials.

The RR/CC’s office had previously responded on the morning of Nov. 5 to earlier circulation of the video on Twitter.

An official release was also shared by the RR/CC that reaffirmed the ballots were legitimately cast and collected and would be processed and counted.

“All Official Ballot Drop Boxes were closed on Election Day at 8 p.m. and the scheduled ballot collection took place the following day,” read the statement. “The ballots in the footage are valid ballots that will be processed and tallied in our Official Election Canvass. Additionally, the individuals in the video are Registrar staff.”

The Registrar’s office is still counting ballots as of Thursday, and is expecting to certify the election by Dec. 3.

  1. Democrats have destroyed the integrity of our entire voting process in multiple states. If Trump ends up elected because of the fraud, be prepared for destruction across the U.S. Biden isn’t and hasn’t been verified as the next president. Only projections by the media. Pray for peace.

    • You won’t have to worry about Trump winning the election. Stick a fork in him! He’s DONE! So now you’re gonna have to come up with some other obviously false idiotic conspiracy theories from now on…. It’s OVER. Try to move on…….. ? Take your meds, and stay on them, will ya?!

  2. So how does the Registrar Recorder respond to claims that despite court orders Los Angeles County Voter rolls were not purged of millions of unverified voters who had died, moved or were otherwise not eligible to vote in Los Angeles County, and they also failed to maintain updated rolls yet still mailed out millions of ballots anyway? As a Permanent Vote By Mail voter for many years, after having received my ballot and already voting by returning my ballot which they acknowledged was received, I received a post card saying that IF I DID NOT RESPOND it was ASSUMED the ballot they had mailed me was sent to a valid voter. Wow, some fail safe security system. They apparently think a cheat would respond to them AFTER THEY VOTED and tell them it was an illegal vote?
This farce has illustrated the urgent need for Federal Voter ID laws, mandated purged and maintained CERTIFIED clean Voter rolls or votes will not be counted in federal elections, and only in person voting with Federal Real ID with free transportation provided to elderly or infirm. Absentee ballots only issued under very restricted conditions and with all proper ID and safeguards. If our system is not secure with fair and honest elections no one will ever have confidence in the results again.

    • I totally agree with Berta Gonzalez Harper’s assessment. I am somewhat intrigued by posts stating that ballot boxes were locked at 8 p.m. on Election Day .. but not collected until the next day. Why the charade showing us the helicopters and armed units delivering ballots to Norwalk on the night of the election — if there were still Ballot Boxes left in place with presumably ballots in them. They didn’t have enough staff to pick up those ballots? Really?? By waiting for election results, you would know exactly how many additional ballots were needed to affect races the next morning .. SCV’s 25th Congressional district is separated by less than 150 votes … Where are the Rolls?? One of the few ways the voters could see who was listed to vote in these elections ….
